If you’re informed by WeChat that you need to be friends with the individual before you can send a message, you’ve been deleted.
All of your profile information, including chat history, profile picture, and more, will be permanently deleted if you remove your WeChat account.
If your WeChat account is temporarily blocked, you will be able to restore it in a variety of ways. However, if your WeChat account has been permanently disabled, you’ll have to create a new user ID for WeChat because you won’t be able to recover deleted WeChat contact information, messages, or account.
Log in to WeChat. Select My Account and then Settings from the drop-down menu. Then go to Account and follow the on-screen directions. To delete your account, follow WeChat’s instructions and input your password when prompted.
What happens if you’re blocked on WeChat? If someone blocks you on WeChat, you won’t receive a notification. However, any message you attempt to send will be highlighted with a red exclamation mark. You will also get system-generated feedback stating that the message was successfully delivered but rejected by the receiver.
