Users who have had their accounts disabled or banned are sent an email notification and are no longer able to log in. Users forfeit any virtual space they’ve acquired. Others can’t get access to your room if it’s shared with others.

To reactivate a disabled account, you must submit a trouble ticket to IMVU’s support staff. Select “Customer Service” from the drop-down menu under “Contact Us” at the bottom of the main IMVu web page. To select the correct department to reactivate your account, click “Customer Service.

To access your account settings, click the “Account Settings” link in the top toolbar.

Select the IMVU Password option. Select the Start Recovery button from within the Password Recovery Bundle. Select a password to recover. The Password Recovery Bundle should be downloaded and installed using this process. Then, from there, select the Start Recovery button. Select an IMPVU password to recover if one exists.

How can you find someone’s email on IMVU? Select a search method from the By drop-down menu near the bottom left corner of the screen, enter the user’s email address or avatar name, then hit the “Search” button in the “Find a Friend” area.
