If a song can’t be found in iTunes, it will be deleted. If iTunes is unable to relocate the tune, it will be trashed. Because you’re working with a list of duplicates, and duplicates means duplicate entries in the iTunes database for a song I’m guessing that the thing you’re erasing doesn’t contain a media file at the specified location.

Open the Recycle Bin. Locate and then select the music files you wish to recover. Choose Restore from right-click or double-click on the selection. The deleted data are instantly restored to their original locations in the Recycle Bin.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Select General and then iPhone Storage or iPad Storage. Scroll down to Music, select it, then tap it. Swipe left on any artist, album, or song to remove them from your library. If you only want to delete certain music from your collection, swipe left on All Songs instead. Tap Delete to confirm the deletion of all songs in your music collection.

Select a Mac hard drive. Launch Recoverit Mac music rescue software, choose a hard disk drive to scan your deleted music files, and then click the “Start” button.

Open Windows Media Player. To see the menu bar, press and hold the ALT key. Tools > Advanced > Restore Deleted Items is the way to go.
