Hiding a game is little more than an annoyance, because it can be restored; whereas removing a game from Steam permanently deletes it from your account. The hidden game may still be played at any time, but if the game is deleted from the account, the user will never be able to play it again unless they repurchase it.
Select the Library page from the top navigation. Open your library, locate and right-click the game you wish to remove, and select Delete Game. Steam will ask you whether you want to completely remove the game.
Open the Play Games app on your Android phone or tablet. Select More at the top of the screen. Settings. Tap Delete Play Games account & data. Find the game data you want to remove and hit Delete under “Delete individual game data.”
Open the Steam client on your PC, log in to your account, and select Library from the top bar menu. To view your list of games, go to the bottom of the page and click Library. Select Manage from the drop-down menu next to Remove from Account and then Delete. Before you can remove it, Steam will ask you if you’re sure you want to do this.
Go to help.steampowered.com and log in using your Steam account. Locate the purchase you wish to refund and click on it. Your purchase must not be beyond our return window if it is not listed.
