To delete a Microsoft account from a device, open the Settings app and select Accounts. Select the Microsoft account you want to delete and tap Delete.
To delete an unwanted Microsoft account, you’ll need to go to account.microsoft.com and sign in with the account you want to delete. Once you’re signed in, select “Security & privacy” from the menu on the left, and then select “Delete your account or services.” Follow the instructions on the screen to delete your account.
Removing a Microsoft account is not possible. The account is linked to your Microsoft profile, which is used to store your personal settings and information. If you want to remove your Microsoft account, you must delete your profile.

To unlink your Microsoft account from Windows 10, open the Settings app and go to Accounts. Under “Your accounts,” click “Sign in with a local account instead.” Enter your current local account password, and then click “Next.” Windows will create a new local account for you. You’ll then be able to sign in to Windows 10 using that account.
