Open the Settings menu on your phone. Tap Accounts in the left column. If “Accounts” isn’t listed, go to Users & accounts instead. Select the account you want to delete by tapping it. Remove the account by selecting it and then hitting Delete Account from the drop-down menu at the bottom of your screen. For protection.
To deactivate your account, go to Settings > Accounts and then remove the account by selecting it.
