The data files for Outlook are located in the Account Settings > Data Files section of your File menu. You won’t be able to erase the PST file as a “default data file” until you replace it with another data file.

Open the Microsoft Outlook application. Go to Settings. Select the account you’d want to delete and make it go away. Select Delete Account from the drop-down menu. To finalize your decision, click Delete.

Log into your Google account on Google.com. click the grid icon in the upper right corner and choose “Account.” under the “Account preferences” heading, click “Delete your account or services.” Select “Delete products” from the drop-down menu.

Create a new contact in Microsoft Outlook, if you haven’t already. Open the Mail program and create a new email account. Delete any secondary accounts from Account Settings. Then, remove the primary account. Click the Data Files tab after all of the accounts have been deleted.

Show Profiles. Remove the account you want by selecting it and clicking Remove. Select “YES” and “OK” in the new window that opens.
