Go to iCloud.com and, in the Custom Email Domain area, select Manage. Select the domain for which you wish to delete an address. Click the remove button next to the address you want to remove and then follow the on-screen instructions.

It’s possible that the email address you’re attempting to set up and use as an Apple ID is linked with another Apple ID as a backup or recovery email address. To check for additional addresses, go to appleid.apple.com using your current Apple ID and sign in.
