Open the Settings app on your phone. Go to Phone, then My Number. Delete the old number by using the delete button. Enter the new number using the keypad. Save it by tapping OK. Restart your iPhone if necessary.

When you designate a number as primary, it will be used for calls, SMS messages, mobile data, iMessage, and FaceTime. When you call someone who isn’t in your contacts, the primary number will be the default. The secondary phone can only receive calls and texts.
