I am using AT&T version of S8 in USA. Also, for some reason, whenever I try to download an app, (from trusted sources) they are getting downloaded in Download folder rather than My Files folder. That means I cannot see those apps through Application Manager or Settings > Apps anyway. What could be going on? Why are these things happening? How can i rectify this problem so that all apps get installed only in My Files folder?

Here is the page that will help you. Scroll down to “Device Administrators” and disable Samsung Cloud. If it’s not there, then go to Apps Manager on your device and find “Samsung Cloud”, tap on it, tap Disable in the top right corner of the app info screen. Do NOT uninstall it as this will remove all your Samsung account info from your phone including pictures and contacts. Now go back into Settings > Lock Screen and Security > Find My Mobile or Login, depending on which you are using (the first one is for AT&T I think, the second one is for Verizon and T-Mobile). Once you are there disable Find My Mobile. There should be a Disable button right on the app info screen that you can tap.

You mentioned to download apps in “My Files” folder instead of downloading by default into the “Downloads” folder. Is there a way to move all those downloaded files from the Download folder to the My Files Folder?
