You won’t lose your Sim 4 files if you remove the Origin client on your PC. But you won’t be able to play Sims 4 or obtain any content until after you reinstall Origin. Online saves and local saved games will not be eliminated by the Origin uninstallation. As a result, your data is completely secure.
Origin is a PC or Mac software. You may use it to download, keep, and play your games from any location. To manage and enjoy your game collection, download Origin for Mac or PC.
To fully exit the Origin client, go to the upper left corner of the window and choose Exit or right-click on the Origin icon in your task bar (bottom right corner).
If this folder isn’t visible, press Alt, choose Tools > Folder Options > View, then check Show hidden files, folders, and drives. Select Delete from the Origin folder’s right-click menu.
To uninstall The Sims 4, right-click the game in Origin and select “Uninstall.” This also removes any extra add-ons or game packs you might have acquired for your game. Although uninstalling the game this way should not delete any of your game files, Crinrict advises backing up your Sims 4 folder.
