Go to Account Settings by clicking on Account Settings. There is a line for Account Type at the top of the Account Settings page. Next to Account Type, there is a Close Account button. To remove your PayPal account, click the Close Account link near the bottom of the screen. Delete your PayPal account by selecting “Yes” from under No thanks when.
Open the Google Pay app on your phone. Tap the card photo in the top right corner. Swipe left until you reach your PayPal account. Select your PayPal account from the list of options. In the upper right, tap More to access more settings. The payment method needs to be deleted
Log in to your PayPal account. Select the Profile subtab. Under Account Information, click the Notifications link. Uncheck any boxes that you don’t want to receive alerts for.
On the PayPal website, you can delete Google Pay from your accounts on either platform. On the PayPal website, go to Settings Payments and switch to Pre-approved payments. Cancel Google Play Store by going to “Google, Inc. from the left navigation bar.
You will not be able to close your account if you still have a PayPal balance, pending funds, or unresolved issues. The account may be closed once the cash has been transferred and the difficulties have been resolved.
