Open the Settings app on your phone. From here, you can choose to set up and restore your Google Account or sign in using a strong password. Select Restore contacts from the drop-down menu.

Open the Google Settings on your Android phone and go to the Google category. Choose Restore Contacts from the drop-down menu. Select the Google account and device for which you’d like to restore contacts. Finally, hit Restart to complete the operation of transferring Gmail contacts to Android.

Open a web browser and log into your Gmail account. Click on the Gmail icon in the upper left corner. Choose Contacts when the dropdown appears. Select More from the top-level menu. nSelec restore Contacts when the dropdown appears.

On your Android smartphone, go to ‘Settings.’ Open ‘Accounts and Sync’ and select Google. Select the Gmail account you’d want to use with your Android device. Allow time for the sync to complete by clicking on the ‘Sync now button.
