The Metadata panel is in the Library module, below the Histogram panel. It contains information about the photo, such as the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.
In Lightroom, you can use metadata to add information to your photos, such as the date they were taken, the camera settings used, and the location where they were taken. To add metadata to a photo, select it in the Library module and then click the Metadata panel. You can then enter the information you want to add.
To view metadata in Lightroom mobile, open an image and tap the “i” icon. This will show you information such as the camera make and model, lens, aperture, and shutter speed.

To edit metadata in Lightroom CC, select the photo you want to edit and go to the Metadata panel on the right-hand side of the screen. You can then edit the fields as you wish.

Sync metadata is a Lightroom feature that allows you to keep track of changes made to your photos, even when you’re not working on them. Any changes you make to the photo’s metadata (e.g. keywords, ratings, etc.) will be automatically synced with the photo’s file on your computer. This is a great way to keep your photo library organized and up-to-date.
When you save metadata to a file, Lightroom writes the information about the photo – such as the title, caption, keywords, and other settings – into the file’s header. This way, the metadata is embedded in the photo itself and can’t be easily changed or removed.
In Lightroom, you can use keywords to help organize and find your photos. To add keywords, select a photo and then click on the keywords panel on the right. Type in the keywords you want to add and then press enter. You can also drag and drop keywords to re-order them.
Open the Metadata Preset Editor by selecting Window > Utilities > Metadata Preset Editor, or by pressing Command-Option-M (Mac) or Control-Alt-M (PC).Click the + button in the bottom left corner of the window to create a new preset.Enter a name for your preset in the Name field.Select the type of metadata you want to include in your preset from the drop-down menu.
