You can select all Google contacts at once by clicking on the “Select All” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
To select multiple contacts in Google Contacts, first click on the contact you want to select. Then, press and hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard while clicking on the other contacts that you want to select.
To bulk delete contacts from Google, you need to go to the Contacts page and click on the three dots in the upper-right corner. Select “Delete contacts” then select “Show more options” and finally, choose which contacts you want to delete.
Open the contact you want to delete. Tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen. Tap on “Delete Contact”. Confirm deletion by tapping “Yes”.
To add contacts in Gmail, start by opening the Contacts tab. Once you’ve opened your contacts, click on the New Contact button to add a new contact. You’ll be prompted to enter their first and last name and email address. Next, click on Save and you’ll be able to see them in your list of contacts.
To edit the contacts that are set to read-only, open the contact and tap on “Edit” in the top right corner. From there you can change the contact’s name, phone number, email address, birthday and a few other fields.

In order to delete a double contact, open the contact and scroll to the bottom of their information. There will be an option that says “remove duplicate.” Select this option and confirm your selection to delete the contact.

You cannot delete read only contacts because they are not editable.
It’s likely that your contacts are synced with the cloud. This means that when you delete a contact, it will be removed from your phone but still available on the web or on other devices with access to the same account.Alternatively, if you have iCloud enabled on your phone, deleting a contact will only remove it from your phone and not from any other devices linked to your iCloud account.
