I don’t know AOL, but that sounds like they are using the standard SMTP protocol with port 25 and not their AOL mail server which may be different ports I think AOL uses Port 110 for outgoing messages so either avoid AOL or use SMTP on a port other than 25 to send your AOL mail through a standard email client set up to talk to AOL’s server As long as you can connect of any form between your email client software and AOL’s mail server it will work, if you have an SSL connection there is nothing to worry about because it is all encrypted. AOL will not see your email data so I don’t get why people have a problem with AOL monitoring that as long as you know it is an AOL server through the SSL connection then people need to worry about their AOL webmail accounts and other services where they can log into AOL, not using AOL as an SMTP relay

I’m talking about getting rid of AOL for mail delivery altogether, not just port 25 for faster outgoing mails.

So if you go out from your email client software to something like smtp-service.mail.aol.com:110 then AOL would only see the traffic going over port 110 (if any), but they wouldn’t be able to monitor what was being relayed to recipients via AOL AOL’s mail server and that AOL will not see your SMTP traffic, you can even encrypt if you want to (I use STARTTLS) AOL cannot use port 25 for outgoing messages, it isn’t possible so I don’t know where all of the information is coming from stating AOL can relay outbound emails via Port 25

It’s time to cancel your subscription. Click the Subscriptions link and select Change Plan to do so. You’ll then need to fill out a confirmation page with your reason for canceling (e.g., No longer using the service). Selecting Subscribe Now will start your fresh, 12-month subscription to this new list by paying 12 monthly installments each month at $5The text that needs rewriting may include any or all of these sentences:

If you pay for your AOL account, you can switch to a free AOL account and keep your email addresses, settings, and favorite places.

Not all, but most of the people who are still paying for AOL subscriptions are not actually using them. If you ever used AOL dial-up as your internet connection, or if you have or had an AOL email account, check recent credit card statements to see if there are any more payments listed.

You may be receiving AOL emails to your Gmail account because you signed up for a free AOL email account at some point in the past. AOL and Gmail are both owned by Google, so your AOL emails will be automatically forwarded to your Gmail account. If you no longer want to receive AOL emails in your Gmail account, you can disable the forwarding feature in your settings.

There could be a few reasons why you can’t delete your AOL email. One reason might be that you have messages that haven’t been read yet. Another possibility is that your account is suspended and you won’t be able to delete it until it’s unsuspended.

To unlink AOL from Gmail, you need to open the AOL website and sign in. Once you’re signed in, click on the “Settings” tab and select “Manage Accounts.” Under “Gmail,” click on the “Delete Account” button.

To block AOL Mail on Gmail, you need to add AOL Mail’s email address to your Gmail blocked senders list.

There are a few reasons why this might be happening. One possibility is that you have been added to a mailing list without your consent. Another possibility is that your email address has been compromised and is being used by someone else to send spam emails. If you are concerned that your email address has been compromised, you can check to see if it is included in any of the major spam databases. If it is, you can take steps to protect your account.

There are a few reasons why you might be getting emails from your other Gmail account. One possibility is that you have two separate Gmail accounts and you’re accidentally checking the wrong one. Another possibility is that you’ve enabled email forwarding from one account to the other. If neither of these explanations seems to fit, then it’s possible that there’s been a security breach and someone else has access to your email account.

To see what accounts are linked to your AOL email, you can log in to your AOL account and go to the “Manage Accounts” page. This page will list all of the accounts that are currently linked to your AOL email address.

To unsync your email, you need to go into your email settings and uncheck the “Sync messages” box.
