In order to uninstall Final Fantasy XIV, you need to have all of the products registered with your Square Enix account. Additionally, there must be no outstanding download or subscription transactions related to the game still pending. Any purchases made while playing on a trial will also need to be removed before attempting an uninstall.

On a PC: Locate and run the Square Enix Game Launcher located in the start menu under All Programs/Square Enix/Game Launchers. If you cannot locate it here, please open up your Start Menu and search for “EULA” (without quotes) and click on EULA.exe which should also be in there. You can also find it by going to C:\Program Files\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV – A Realm Reborn and running EULA.exe

Press X on your Controller to confirm you wish to proceed with uninstalling FFXIV. Again, please note that this will not erase or delete any of your personal data.
