Select Delete Account from the drop-down menu that appears. Select a user name in the top right corner of the Delete Your Account page. Choose Edit profile and then Log out from the choices provided. Log in using your chosen account, then follow the steps above.

Start by looking for Control Panel in the search bar on the taskbar. Select it from the results. Select Programs > Programs and Features on PC or Applications > Application Management > Applications on a Mac. Then follow the instructions on the screen.

Log into the account you want to delete on Instagram.com in your browser (not the app). You should see something similar to this. If not, go here. Select why you’re canceling your account. Re-enter your password. Choose “Permanently Delete My Account.”

In the Finder, locate the program. Drag it to the Trash or right-click (control-click) on it and select File > Move to Trash. If you’re asked for a user name and password, use the same ones as an administrator account on your Mac. Select Finder > Empty Trash to remove the application.
