Even if your account was restricted for a different reason, you should remove any LinkedIn tools connected with it (such as access or log out from everything), and clear your browser’s cache.
We may delete or restrict content or an account if we determine that it breaches the Professional Community Policies or User Agreement. Your account may be restricted indefinitely depending on the seriousness of the infraction.
Select Help from the Me button at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. Select Open Help in a new tab from the dropdown menu. Click Contact us at the bottom of the Help Center page. Select Get help from us under Other on Google search. Search for a question or a subject using Other option.
A restricted account is one that has less than the required amount of equity, as mandated by Regulation T or the standards of the particular broker (if greater). After the gap has been addressed, the restriction is removed, and the user can start making purchases again.
Within 20 days, you must reapply for reactivation. LinkedIn will be unable to reopen your account after 20 days have passed. You’ll need to establish a new LinkedIn account after this time limit has elapsed.
