Log into your Fitbit account with the trackers nearby. Tap your profile image on the Today screen to go to your profile page. Select My Family from the drop-down menu under your child’s name. Choose Kid View as a preference for your kid under Change Settings in the pop-up window that appears.

Parents can limit who their children connect with and what information they see in the Fitbit app using the Fitbit family account, allowing them to keep an eye on their child’s activity while also safeguarding their privacy. The Fitbit family account is now accessible on Android version 2.72 and iOS version 2.51.

Install the Fitbit app on your child’s device and log in to your account. Then, on the profile card, select My Family, and then follow the name of your child in the list of linked accounts. On the account’s information screen there is a Switch to Kid View option; simply tap it and then enter your password.

You requested it, and here it is, a highly anticipated feature: you can now connect many Fitbit trackers to the same account. This allows Fitbit users to use one tracker for everyday wear (the One) and another for workouts (a Surge).
