Open the Google app on your Android device or tablet. Select Profile picture or initials in the top right corner. Delete all time by tapping History below your history. Open the Chrome app on your Android phone or tablet. Go to More at the top right and select History. Select Clear browsing data. Tap Clear data after selecting how much history you want to remove. All-time is the only way to erase everything. Make sure “Browsing history” is selected. Click Clear data.

Some users of the Google Chrome browser may be unable to remove the browser’s history (and/or cache) due to a bug in later versions. The data includes everything from the browser cache, cookies, and downloaded files.

Click on the three-line icon at the top right of Chrome to open its menu. Click More at the top right corner. Select History from the drop-down menu. Choose History from the drop-down menu or select it using the keyboard. Or, on a Mac computer, click and hold or tap and click the menubar icon with three dots at the top right of the browser window. Select History > History (CTRL+H) from the drop-down menu that appears.
