To access it.Tap your profile photo in the upper left corner of the screen.Select “Deactivate Your Account” from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page.Finish by entering your password and hitting Deactivate.

Go to your Twitter account. On the left side of the page, click the three-dotted menu symbol and then Settings & privacy. Read carefully and pick Deactivate.

In order to deactivate an account, the confirmed account holder or at the request of a confirmed account holder, it is necessary. Unfortunately, unless you can reach us from the verified email address (or have access to the validated mobile phone number on the account), we will be unable to deactivate your account on your behalf.

Go to Twitter and set up a new account if you don’t already have one. In the upper right corner of your page, click your profile photo. Select Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu. Scroll all the way down and choose to Deactivate your account.

Because of the bug, Twitter temporarily disabled all follower/follower counts, which might have led to the impression that you had no followers for a long period of time. The problem appears to have been addressed, and follower counts have resumed operating normally as of now.
