Click the account button in the upper right corner of any Facebook page. Select Settings from the drop-down menu. Scroll down to Deactivate Your Account and select it from the list.

You must be able to log in to your Facebook account in order to deactivate or completely erase it. If you’ve forgotten your login password, there are a variety of methods available to reset it and regain access to your account. You may either close your account temporarily or permanently after entering.

Startup the Facebook app on your Android device. Tap the three-lined icon (hamburger menu). Select Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu. nap Settings to go to the main settings screen. Account Ownership and Control should be selected here if it is not already done so. Select Deactivation and Deletion from?

Go to your Facebook settings and then choose Personal Information. Click Deactivation and Removal. After that, select Permanently Delete Account and proceed to account deletion.

However, keep in mind that data isn’t readily erased. The full data removal process takes 90 days. That means you have 30 days to cancel your deletion request on Facebook. If you don’t do so within 60 additional days, Facebook will remove your data.
