Since they’re saved on the Messages page, you may discover them if you want to, which is why there’s no Delete button – deleting them would hide them from you all over.
Open the Chat or Gmail app on your phone. Tap Chat . Tap the person’s name. Delete a message by tapping it. Tap the individual’s name at the top of the screen to return to Messages. To delete a conversation, tap Delete and confirm.
Messages on OKCupid might be erased for the same reason that your profile was unmatched, you were blocked, their profile was deleted, they were banned from the platform, or you had their profile blocked.
You can also delete entire discussions simply by unfriending someone. You’ll be removed from their match list, and they’ll be removed from yours if you unmatch someone.
We don’t inform someone that you’ve blocked or unmatched them—you just vanish from their life, whether you may have spoken with them previously.
