Click on the 3-dots after clicking on the right side of a choice (on the right side of a selection) delete it by selecting Delete. Select Hangouts as your app. name is chosen. click on 3-dots to see all available options. Delete is selected by default; If you don’t want to keep anything.
It’s possible that the person has uninstalled/removed the Hangouts app from their phone, but just to be on the safe side, no one can fully remove Hangouts from their Google Account unless they delete the entire Google Account or Google suspends their Hangouts.
The first feature we’ll look at is “hidden contacts,” as defined by Google, which allows users to remove individuals from their contact lists without completely blocking them out.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to delete conversations on both ends. That is to say, even if one of them is deleted, the other participants will still be able to access it. There’s no method to remove messages from another user’s phone. Also, Google Hangouts does not provide the option of deleting particular messages.
Visit hangouts.google.com or Gmail to access the old Hangouts client. To start a conversation, choose someone from your Hangouts list. Click Settings Block & Report at the top of the thread to begin reporting abuse. Select “Also report” if applicable Confirm by clicking OK.
